Galance is made by Insetlab LLC (“we”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the Galance app and the galance.app website.
The Galance app
Galance works entirely on your Mac. Your photos, videos, folders, edits and settings never leave your computer, and the app does not connect to the internet to work. We do not collect analytics, crash reports, usage data or any content from the app.
Your license key is checked on your Mac, offline. Activating Galance does not send any information to us.
If Galance offers to check for updates, it downloads a small public file from galance.app that lists the latest version. That request contains no personal information beyond what any web request carries (your IP address and app version), and we do not use it to identify you.
Buying Galance
Orders are processed by our reseller, Paddle.com (Paddle), who is the Merchant of Record for every order. Paddle collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details to process the payment, calculate taxes and prevent fraud. We never see or store your card details. Paddle’s handling of your data is described in the Paddle Privacy Policy.
From Paddle we receive your email address, country and order details. We use them only to send you your license key, provide support and handle refunds, and we keep them for as long as needed for those purposes and our legal and tax obligations.
We send your license key and, rarely, important notices about your purchase. We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it, and you can stop any email by replying to it.
The website
galance.app is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. When you open the checkout, Paddle’s checkout page sets the cookies it needs to process the payment.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, and to correct or delete it, by writing to [email protected]. For payment data, you can also contact Paddle directly.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Significant changes will be explained on this page.
