Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once and Galance is yours, with free updates for every 4.x version.
What happens when the trial ends?
After 7 days Galance asks for a license key. Your folders and the files you liked or exported stay exactly where they are.
Does Galance change or move my photos?
Never. Liked photos and cut clips are copied into a folder next to the originals. Deleting goes to the Trash, and ⌘Z brings it back.
Which Macs does it run on?
Any Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later, Apple silicon or Intel. One license covers two of your Macs.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Galance works fully offline. The license is checked on your Mac, not on a server.
Which files can it open?
HEIC, JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, JPEG XL, TIFF, GIF and RAW from most cameras (CR3, NEF, ARW, RAF, DNG, ORF, RW2 and more), plus MOV, MP4 and M4V video.
